As Managing Director and Partner, Tore Bergsteiner is personally responsible for the strategic positioning and operational development of MAIN5. With his strengths in the fields of corporate strategy and sales, he is leading the management consulting firm towards a financially robust situation of international growth.

Until late 2012, Bergsteiner was Managing Director and Partner of EXTEDO GmbH, a leading international product vendor of electronic approval systems for both the publicly owned and private pharmaceutical industry (EMA, national EU authorities and associations, South Africa and the Middle East, DAX, and others). Under Bergsteiner’s leadership, the company established a dominant position in its niche segment.

Until 2004, he worked directly for one of the major German technology and operating companies (IABG mbH). In view of his increasing success in project, product, and quality management as well as sales, he was given responsibility for the IABG business unit Pharma/Chemicals.

Bergsteiner graduated in Computer Sciences and studied until 1996 at the University of Bremen, the University of Texas, Austin, and the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg.
